DD Miller and Christine Fischer Guy at gritLIT

Hamilton's Readers and Writers Festival has put together another all-star lineup featuring the likes of Kathleen Winter, Russell Wangersky, Alison Pick, Andrew Pyper, Stephen Marche and many, many more.

In a panel entitled "Short...Not Always Sweet," D.D. Miller discusses the skill of keeping it short while packing a punch. He's joined by other masters of the short-story craft: Kathleen Winter, Denise Roig, and K.D. Miller. Join them Saturday, April 18, 3:00 p.m., at the Art Gallery of Hamilton (123 King Street West).

Fresh from the Prince Edward County Authors Festival in Picton, Ontario, Christine Fischer Guy joins Stephen Marche on Sunday, April 19, at 1:30 p.m. for "Unearthing the Past."

Tickets for these and all other gritLIT events are available through Eventbrite.

D.D. Miller's short-story collection, David Foster Wallace Ruined My Suicide and Other Stories, was published by Wolsak & Wynn in Spring 2014 and helped launch the Buckrider Books imprint.

Christine Fischer Guy's debut novel, The Umbrella Mender, was published in Fall 2014, also through Buckrider Books.
